Chess Set & Table

A one-of-a-kind showpiece. Early 1900s Chinese genuine elephant tusk exquisitely hand-carved and etched ivory chess set setting in a circa 1950s 47″x 66″ chess table, with kneeling end-benches and removable glass top. Kings and queens are 10″ hollow ivory (base of trunks) filled with plaster-of-paris. All other pieces are solid ivory (tip of trunks.) All signed on the bottom by artist.
